    We are easily accessible by car, and there is parking available on site. Public transport users can reach us via local bus routes—perfect for those who want to combine a visit with exploring the town.

  • Yes! Our museum is fully accessible to visitors with mobility needs. Please note that some areas may have uneven ground, so we recommend taking care while exploring. While our building is wheelchair-friendly, the historic buses themselves are not currently equipped for wheelchair access.

  • No! Admission to Aycliffe Bus Museum is completely free for all our visitors. Our museum is run entirely by passionate volunteers who dedicate their time for the love of buses and transport heritage.


    We do, however, warmly welcome donations. Running a museum is expensive, and every donation helps maintain our vehicles, improve exhibits, and keep the museum a welcoming place for everyone.
