On the first Sunday of every month, Aycliffe Bus Museum invites you to go Behind the Buses and discover the stories, people, places and memories that make our collection so special.
Join one of our knowledgeable volunteers for a special guided tour of the museum, taking you beyond the displays and closer to the vehicles themselves. Hear the stories behind the buses, learn about the operators who once served communities across the North East and discover how public transport helped shape everyday life.
Whether you are a lifelong bus enthusiast, a local history lover, or simply curious to discover something different, Behind the Buses offers a chance to see the museum from a different perspective.
