Are you ready to get aboard with The United Enthusiasts Club

For almost a century, United Automobile Services played a central role in everyday life across North East England. From journeys to school, work, shops and leisure, to memorable holidays at the seaside, London and far beyond, generations travelled on the familiar red buses and distinctive express coaches that became part of the region’s identity.

The United Enthusiasts Club exists to celebrate and preserve this rich history. Through their monthly publication, The United Enthusiast, members bring United and its associate companies vividly back to life, sharing memories, research, photographs, letters and engaging articles. The Club also looks to the present day, attending meetings and events with their club stand and reporting on news from United’s successor operators.

Aycliffe and District Bus Preservation Society and the United Enthusiasts Club have proudly supported one another for many years. Through shared events, mutual support, and a common passion for transport heritage, both organisations continue to work together for the benefit of preservation, education, and the wider enthusiast community.

It truly is a ticket to ride through time.
